What to Expect

At Next Step Pregnancy Services you will find two licensed and registered nurses as well as one volunteer registered nurse who can provide pregnancy and STI/STD testing, perform OB ultrasounds and address your medical questions and concerns from pregnancy symptoms, complications, health and nutrition, prenatal care, follow up care and referrals to local ob gyn providers. They are available by appointment and walk in as needed as well as via telephone and email anytime!

Next Step also has two pregnancy care advocates to assist with referrals, appointments, supplies, counsel, and simply to listen and assist. Our team is rounded out by our Medical Director who covers all aspects of the clinic’s medical care including all pregnancy testing, STI/STD testing and treatment, ultrasound scans and diagnosis, and medical follow up, including STI/STD prescriptions and counsel and an Executive Director to address concerns, questions, suggestions, and overall care for you and your loved ones.

Privacy

When you come to our center, you can rest assured that your visit and any information you share with us is completely confidential. We will not share any personal information about you or your visit with anyone outside of our organization.

  • Client information is held in strict and absolute confidence.
  • We offer a safe environment. Our volunteers are thoroughly screened with background checks and references.

At our center, you will be met with a caring environment with a professional staff that respects you and your body. We will not judge you, pressure you, or treat you with anything but our best – every time.

At our center, you will receive accurate and honest information on an array of subjects including pregnancy symptoms, abortion, adoption, parenting, STDs, and sexual health.

  • Clients always receive accurate information about pregnancy, fetal development, lifestyle issues and related concerns.
  • We do not offer, recommend or refer for abortions or abortifacients, but are committed to offering accurate information about abortion procedures and risks.
  • All of our advertising and communication are truthful and honest and accurately describe the services we offer.

Q: What can I expect from my visit to Next Step?

A: At Next step you can always expect to be treated with respect by our wonderful staff and licensed medical professionals. Our medical professionals do not rush through appointments. They take time to listen to you and answer your questions. Need more time? We’re here. All conversations are confidential (as allowed within Washington State law). All medical services at Next Step are provided by licensed medical professionals under the direction and supervision of our Medical Director.
